Does the tv show Skins portray real english teenagers?
i live in america and u will NEVER find a show where the guys are really touchy feely with eachother unless theyre gay. does the skins show an accurate picture of how english kids are?
thanxDoes the tv show Skins portray real english teenagers?
thats how some teenagers act here, yes but not all of them. there all a bit ****** up in skins but alot of teenagers like it because they can compare to the characters! i think its a great show. :)Does the tv show Skins portray real english teenagers?
Not all. It makes the show more interesting if they make the characters like that. Sort of like in Teachers, they're always at the pub and treat the school kids like they know nothing at all or Footballers Wives where they're often having affairs with each others husbands. It just brings in more viewers.
Oh yeh deffinatly!
i love that show cant wait till 3rd seris! ;]
Dont know. I didn't think they were that touchy feely, they were just all kinda messed up.
I love that show.blush makeup

How are teenagers different in their relationships now then in the 70s & 80s?
anyone from the 70s and 80s - how was teen dating back then?
people from other time periods are welcome tooHow are teenagers different in their relationships now then in the 70s %26amp; 80s?
Back then guys were happy to 'steal' a kiss from a girl. And girls left much to the imagination by the clothes they wore. Relationships took their time in developing....not jumping into bed after 2 dates. It was so much more romantic. How are teenagers different in their relationships now then in the 70s %26amp; 80s?
HI,
Well from what I hear kids today are way into oral sex...like way young. I can tell ya that back in the day (and I'm not exactly old) Girls weren't letting guys go down on them...and vice versa. Surly not at the ages ya hear about today...like early teens...I'm still like wtf with this stuff they say on the news....Geeeez! No way were we doing that. Believe me we were way *cool* but this stuff wasn't happening...I guess we did other things. lol
Eileen
well they didnt have texts or IM or email so they would do more talking on the phone or in person i guess
Back then it was less sexual and more group dates.
girls seem more eager now...
We do more, much more.

What should teenagers do if they are pregnant at an early age?
They should be compelled to go into local schools as a warning to others...What should teenagers do if they are pregnant at an early age?
Tell you parents and get help to deal with itWhat should teenagers do if they are pregnant at an early age?
seek help from a councillar or guardian a doctor or anything don't keep it to themselves
dont think its the end of the world
Speak with someone they trust or an independent organisation such as the Brook Advisory Centres. They are in the phone book and will give impartial advice for free.
make a choice to hav it or not there going to be scared either way..it not a crime if they end up pregnant as adults do the same
they should say to there preants
Ask someone you trust what to do...not a kid though.
I would say probably carry on with the pregnancy and have the baby as the girl could regret having a abortion and look back on it with disgust of killing a life.
tell someone they trust
i got pregnant at 16. I finished high school with the help of my dad and daycare of course and now im 24 with a 7yr old and shes the joy of my life. getting pregnant isnt the end of the world but its best to wait so you can have your teenage years to cherish...
You should keep the baby because you are the one that made the mistake and you should deal with the consequences.
Talk to you mother or Call Birthright
They are a non-denomination (not religious) group that counsels girls who are or think they might be pregnant. They can help you talk to your parents so your parents don't get too mad atyou.
Ask someone whom you trust thats old enough to know. Go to a clinic ,maybe, just to double check and make sure that you are pregnant and talk to a doctor about what kind of options you may have.
Get an abortion, and enjoy your young life without that stupid thing happening to you again.
Decide whether or not abortion, addoption, or parenting is the best choice for them. Thats the first step. Teenage girls who are pregnant need to take care of themselves as well and find support in their community whether it is family, friends, co-workers, or a counselor.
get up and get a job to support their kid them tell parents then daddy of baby
Tell their parents and the father of the baby. Then make an educated decision, using the help of a pregnancy counseling center.
tell their mum as soon as possible they will b more angry if you urself dnt tell em first
Give the baby up for adoption and stop having sex until they are married.
tell ur parents and live with the consqwences
Learn quickly how to be adults.
adoption
Seek medical help - seek guidance, learn to say No and keep their legs closed.
Sash.
Seek out counseling.Abort or adopt the child out. I personally feel it will be best for you to not keep the child. My ow n opinion. But you definately need some sort of counseling and you need to have to talk to your parents
tell ur mum and tell her um im pregnant!
I'm not sure if this is you or your friend. Being pregnant can be exciting and very scary at the same time, regardless of age or if you've already got children. The first point of call is the doctor to confirm prenancy and to book in a dating scan for 8-9wks. A medical care provider will be able to monitor both mum and bub's health during pregnancy and intervene if necessary.
Second point of call is parents. This can be the most scary thing of all. They may be angry or surprised or sad or excited or bewildered or scared or a combination of all of the above. Parents can often be the best support and extended family is very important in baby's life.
Information and support are going to be invaluable during this time. Look forward to the baby's future and what the long term goals for a family are.
Good luck!
They should confined in a responsible adult and see a doctor to talk through the different options available to them.
I am 16 and had my daughter 3 months ago when i was 15 but every time i look at her i know shes worth it but then again if theire not ready considering other options may be better and it should be though through very carefully and not on ther own and should do what they thing is best for them
First dont listien to the people telling you to kill your baby. You have to find out first then talk to your parents and boyfriend about it. Im 16 and im 18 weeks pregnant i wouldnt change it for the world. You had sex You got pregnant so dont try to pawn your baby off on someone else.

Why do teenagers love to talk in dirty language?
Some are curious what would happen if they do.
Some just follow suit if their friends/influences do it too.
Some follow from their parent's path.
And some had done all of the above.
And had it as a habit.
Anyway, teenagers don't have a monopoly over curses though. Why do teenagers love to talk in dirty language?
Sometimes it is about a feeling of ';power';- they are able to talk this way when their parents aren't around, so they use the language as an expression of autonomy. I tell my children that using language like that makes you sound unintelligent and ignorant. My 8 year old refuses to even read outloud the word ';shut up'; in a book- she finds bad language offensive (and I hope it stays that way!) I think that if parents work hard to model for their children the way that they should talk, and talk about why bad language is inappropriate, offensive and takes away your intelligence appearance, children are more apt to shy away from using it as teens. Why do teenagers love to talk in dirty language?
defiance. testing boundaries.
But, it's not only teenagers who love to speak with sailors tongues.
I guess because you can understand it more.
to get attention to see how far you will let it go i gave my teens permission to say certain words when its just us at home but never in public and i explained that people who use words like that sound less intelligent then others i took them to the mall and we just sat and watch groups of teens and how they talk to each other after that they use allot less cuss words
Because they are teenagers and they like to rebel and also get attention from their parents. That and they think swearing is cool.
ohh i didnt know it was only teenagers that did that.
because it doesn't bother them. they care more about the package and less about the wrapping paper. why should they speak in baby talk just to not offend someone?
Probably makes them feel like grown ups...
because its easy to express their feelings
Teenagers speak vulgar language because of society. Often times they hear their parents foul language as a child and looking up to our parents can be influential in that sense. Then there comes school... there are children there that listen to it at their own homes and it becomes this never ending cycle. Parents also do not monitor what their children are watching on TV as much as they should. Children are very susceptible to influence and wanting to be like their peers. No one wants to seem an outsider and that just seems to be the cycle of life as sad as it is
Because I think They Like to Be Cool Around There Friends And Try And Show Off

Are teenagers meant to hate their parents?
Yet another theory I was told ages ago. A guy was telling me that the brain has a built in 'time limit' for liking the parents as much as it encourages them to go out and make a life for themselves. They said this was still around from older times when it was more relevant.
So does anybody know if there is any truth in it? Again, this is not my personal beliefAre teenagers meant to hate their parents?
Im pretty sure teens are not meant to hate their parents, there just in that age where they want all this freedom and get mad when it doesn't happen. Are teenagers meant to hate their parents?
I dont think that teenagers are BORN to hate them, but as teens grow older, at times, that may hate them, but in the end the hate never last.
no there not infact teen agers have this thing like if their going through periods thy kind of flip over smthing so small and if there not they have a problem but in the inside they just want a hug.
i have no idea but it dosent sound true i think it's from all the hormos and **** but idk but i do hate my parents and dont really know y
no they wernt. all it is, is the hormones and puberty. it was not to be meant that way:)
i don't like my mom. but i like my dad and grandmother
