Most towns have this problem, but it's even more noticeable in tacky so-called holiday resorts. The best seaside towns are always the picturesque ones with few amenities like Filey and Llandudno.
True accept for Brighton (where I live). There's a high student demographic here so there's always something going on. Very rarely do I see chavs loitering in the street. Thankfully.
