I feel like a lot of the people my age are self centered.... This is to be expected, right? If so, how can I avoid dealing with it?Are teenagers usually self centered?

That you are asking how you can avoiding dealing with it suggests you are well on your way to developing a stronger internal locus of control. Unless you are asking how to avoid dealing with other teens who are self-centered. Then you're average.
