I don't recommend it, honestly, but if pigtails is a must for you do low loose ponytails instead tight high ones that, no offense, would make the teenager look a bit like they couldn't take care of their self and had to have their ';mommy'; do their hair. Low loose ponytails gives off a relaxed kind of vibe, so over doing your make-up or wearing too much jewelry would clash horribly, i recommend a thin line of dark liner on the top lash line and not underneath, some mascara and light playful blush... no lip gloss it'll make you look like trailer-trash... be careful not to slick them back, wear your hair relaxed and wavy.
