Does the tv show Skins portray real english teenagers?

i live in america and u will NEVER find a show where the guys are really touchy feely with eachother unless theyre gay. does the skins show an accurate picture of how english kids are?

thats how some teenagers act here, yes but not all of them. there all a bit ****** up in skins but alot of teenagers like it because they can compare to the characters! i think its a great show. :)Does the tv show Skins portray real english teenagers?
Not all. It makes the show more interesting if they make the characters like that. Sort of like in Teachers, they're always at the pub and treat the school kids like they know nothing at all or Footballers Wives where they're often having affairs with each others husbands. It just brings in more viewers.

Dont know. I didn't think they were that touchy feely, they were just all kinda messed up.
