If movie ''paranormal activity'' is R rated, why did i see so many teenagers there?

umm no one checks ur id anymore unless you want to get a student discount.... PS. THAT MOVIE WAS AWEEESOME!!!If movie ''paranormal activity'' is R rated, why did i see so many teenagers there?
Most movie theaters have slips that a parent would have to sign now days for the teenager to watch the R rated movie.

Basically its a permission slip.

I believe the parent can also sign for others too.

You just have to have someone over 18 sign it for you.If movie ''paranormal activity'' is R rated, why did i see so many teenagers there?
Because they buy a ticket for a non R rated movie, then go into the theater that is showing the R rated one.
The rating system makes way for the cotton wool kids that will be scared by things. I could deal with anything from about 12, so could mos people. Who really cares?
The only people who like R movies are teenagers.

That's irony.
The rating system is just a suggestive guide. It isn't law or anything.

Each theater has its own policy.
B/C that's the movie to go see right now and ratings don't matter to teenagers.
2 things buy a diffrent ticket for a pg-13 movie and go to that one or fake id
Cause maybe they were like 16 or 17 and could pass for 18. Or they were with adults but just not sitting with them.
I thought it was a 15,anyway if kids have a fake ID they get in because the cinema doesn't care,it's getting them more money!

sophX
Philip is stupid.
They probably lie about there age.
it's a scary movie they all want to see it and be scared out of there mind.
most get their older mates to buy the ticket for them
because its not scary..just jumpy
Who cares?
cuz we just walk in no one really cares
