Why is it considered ';adult language'; when the only people that use it are teenagers and children?

i swear all the fuuccking time and i'm 31 goddamned years oldWhy is it considered ';adult language'; when the only people that use it are teenagers and children?
Since adults use the phrase ';adult language'; to discourage children to use those words. However, by calling them adult words you are only telling them that if they want to be like an adult to use those words... (not really on topic i guess..)

Because adults generally have realized that it is inappropriate to use those words in public they normally reserve that kind of language limited use, however teenagers and children sort of use it as a way to show that they are more grown up. Why is it considered ';adult language'; when the only people that use it are teenagers and children?
That's what makes it so entertaining for teenagers and children.
